Plan checks, calmly
Short notes on what AI tool pricing and help pages say today. Each one is dated and links to the guide it belongs to. We don't claim something changed unless we can show it.
AI Week #1
AI Week #1: spend caps on Google Cloud, a new Microsoft image editor, Claude models inside Antigravity and Gemini 4 Argon.
Plan check: Claude Pro and your office tools
Claude Pro lists Microsoft 365, Outlook and Chrome add-ins; ChatGPT Plus lists Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Sheets extensions.
Plan check: Claude Pro has a yearly option, ChatGPT Plus doesn't
Claude Pro costs $20 a month or $200 up front for a year; ChatGPT Plus is $20 a month with no annual billing. What that means for uneven freelance income.
Plan check: how Claude's usage limits work
Claude uses a rolling five-hour window plus a weekly limit; OpenAI doesn't publish exact caps for Plus. Plan heavy jobs around it.
Plan check: what ChatGPT Plus lists on its pricing page
Image creation, Deep research, Projects, Codex and office extensions: what the official ChatGPT pricing page lists on the Plus plan today.
